Journal Archives

Back in the A - S - I - A   2005-05-29

Well, it's no secret that a journal update is long overdue. We went back to Canada earlier this month for Marlene's sister's wedding. We've been back for a week now and some of you have wondered whether the lack of a prompt update means I've been too busy crying on my pilla' to commit ones and zeros to the screen. In a word — yes. We had a great trip back home and if it wasn't for the fact that we're leaving Taipei for Tokyo in three weeks, I'd be crying on my pilla' right now.

Following are a few photos from our trip. I can't say the quality of all the photos is all that great as I'm much better at stalking signage than I am at stalking people and places. However, I did slip the Optio S4i in my pocket for most social occassions. If you don't see your shiny teeth below, please don't take it as a slight. Chances are the photo didn't turn out for lack of camera know-how (the instruction manual is in Chinese so most of the camera's functions, buttons, and settings remain a mystery) or I was too busy laughing to take a photo.
